What Not to Wear and Other Stuff

When choosing clothing options for you portrait session, keep a few things in mind.

Please don't dress too Loud!  Bright colors will try to steal the show. Hey! This is about You!

Avoid patterns and stripes, they are often dated and they are distracting at best.

Don't wear dresses that are too short. They limit the poses we can use. 

What To Do

• Wear Solid Colors, preferably earth tones.
• Wear darker bottoms, lighter tops.
• Bring jeans & slacks and dresses for girls (not too short).
• Vary your clothing.
• Wear scarves, hats or jackets to add versatility. Accessorize!
• Bring several pairs of shoes.
• Shave.
• Bring props such as instruments, sports equipment, pets, etc.
• Girls should use an oil free foundation.
• Make sure your undergarments are appropriate for your choice of clothing.
• Bring clothes on hangers, steam or iron them

   . Ladies Please ! If you have to wear false eye lashes       Please remember. They are eye lashes, Not Wings! 

What Not To Do

• Do Not Use spray on tanner.
• Do Not Use glossy lipstick, glitter, black nail polish or SPF makeup.
• Do Not Accessorize too much.
• Do Not Wear logos that date your artwork.
• Do Not Use a gallon of hairspray.
• Do Not Get a haircut the day of your shoot.
